Note: All regular meetings are on the third Monday of each month from September to June. Meetings at RJ's Restaurant are dutch luncheons. Go through the serving line by 11:30, program begins at 12:00 noon.

Dr. Presley will examine many of the long-term benefits to Bulloch County begun during the 1930's

"Tales of the Altamaha"
Dr. Branch is co-editor of the published essays of T. Ross Sharpe about the people, places and culture of the Altamaha River area.

Veteran's Day Ceremony, 11:00 AM
A preliminary program at 10:30 will feature patriotic music. The traditional program will begin at 11:00. Co-sponsored by the Southeast Scottish Heritage Society, American Legion Post 90, and the Averitt Center for the Arts, and supported by the Bulloch County Heritage Society.

The Bulloch County Historical Society has received a grant from the Jack N. and Addie D. Averitt Foundation. The officers and directors of the Society have scheduled an open discussion period in lieu of our scheduled meeting on Monday, January 18 th. We urge you to be present to hear the board's report and to share your thoughts and ideas, and to provide input.

This is one of the oldest churches in the county, located on Old River Road in rural Bulloch County.
